Most businesses and organisations need computing and information systems to work effectively. They want graduates who can understand both the technical and business aspects.
Throughout the course you gain and develop skills that allow you to design, implement and maintain IT systems for various business applications.

You develop and improve your computing skills, and we give you a comprehensive understanding of business at masters level, which strengthens your employability.
You can also gain vendor certification across a range of topics including
Oracle SQL and database administration

We have strong links with many employers and industries, which allow you to take advantage of first class work placements. Employers include * HSBC * Lloyds TSB * Eli Lilley * Yorkshire Television * NPower * Ford.
You must be highly motivated, enthusiastic and have good interpersonal skills. You must also have the drive and initiative to finish this undergraduate/postgraduate course.
You graduate with a masters degree at the end of the course. This means you have the advantage of the undergraduate fee repayment structure where you don't start paying back your fees until you are earning above a set limit. This is currently 拢15,000 a year.
The normal study route is four years, but you can choose to take an added work placement year. Or you can take the sponsored route, which allows you to study and gain professional experience at the same time in partnership with an employer.
Organisations need graduates who understand technology and the business aspects of computing and information systems. You graduate with a masters degree at the end of your course.
